A Perfect Mid Week Updo You Can Try Next Week

CharyJayDo you need a midweek up do? We have one for you that is kinda easy to do and looks amazing for those days you need to tuck and roll everything, look fabulous and get those ends protected.

Charyjay published a video yesterday where she did a pompadour and a puff style that I thought was pretty cute and worth sharing.

If you are a wash and go girl like me, then the mid week styling might involve some sort of washing activity but if you want to style your hair dry this is a great option.

To get the style just right we made a few notes:

Moisturize

The key to mid week styling is getting your strands as hydrated as you can. You can use a leave in conditioner to do the trick or you can mist your hair with some water. Personally I like my mist to have a little aloe vera juice in it because it moisturizes like a charm

Seal

Sealing your hair with a little oil keeps all the moisture you just added to your strands. The combination pretty much keeps your hair feeling soft.

Styling

To get the style looking perfect, all you need is a little pomade and a few hair tools. During the moisturizing process you can detangle the hair slightly so that you can separate the hair into two halves.

The top half is smaller and will be used for your pompadour. The larger half will be your puff, Chary jay shows you in the video how to style your puff and tuck and roll the ends for a smooth finish to half of the style.

Watch the video to see how she styles the front portion of her hair, ensure that it is thoroughly moisturized before you tuck it.

Check out CharyJays video below then try the style for yourself:
