If I remember correctly (it’s been a long time since I saw vids or read up on it, and I’ve always been relaxed, so I have no use for this) all you do is wash your hair (whether it’s co-washing or using sulfate free shampoo) to remove products and clean your scalp…Apply leave-in or wash out conditioners, creams, serums/oils that do not contain silicone and any other ingredients you know will dry out your hair…Apply gel and scrunch your hair. ..Wrap your hair with a t-shirt and either let it air dry or if you are bold enough, use a hand dryer or hooded dryer. Somewhere along the way, trim your hair.
All in all, the CG method is supposed to give you curl definition, a lot of continuous moisture, and keep your hair frizz-free.
It’s more of how you take care of your hair, no sulfate shampoos, no silicones, no heat, no twist outs (sometimes I do twist outs but my hair is curlier in a wash and go state for some reason.)
Luv it before & after
This was me before I had a regimen, believing I only had curls when wet.
