Jenny JackJack says
So using high heat regularly is better than relaxing ? No I don’t think so! It’s a quick way to burn your hair out.
Tara Smith says
That’s a myth..do some research….
Tiavia Nelson Fields says
They just had an article on this very site saying too much heat will permanently damage your hair so you should treat straightening as a treat and only do it like twice a year.
Jennifer Barlow-Boatner says
Exactly! Damage is damage. People kill me with this kind of mess. You can’t tell me having to flatiron several times a week is “better” than applying relaxer once every few months. Your curls are gonna be straight eventually either way, from frying ’em, or relaxing them. Smh…

Too many passes. 7 to 8 root passes and 4 to 5 long passes…wtf
Nena Elizabeth says
I used to do something similar it was a protein Thermal conditioning process and I remember how many passes she would do on my head and I would just cringe like this can’t be good. Needless to say I don’t do that anymore.
Melody Frye says
What is the product she was using? She never showed what it was or where to purchase it at?
Karen Scarlett-Davis says
What is the creamy stuff?? A different kind of perm?? Just saying
Sharday Love says
I counted 11 root passes. That’s just a bit too excessive for me.
Cynthia Amos says
Some steps are missing? Why did she have gloves on? Was there a relaxer type solution applied? The hair looked as if it was flat ironed. Her hair is beautiful. I would live to see the entire process. THE WHOLE AMOUNT OF TIME FROMM START TO FINISH. I KNOW IT TOOK MORE THAN 4 HOURS….
Ashley Blue says
I seen videos and reached out the stylist who do this work. It looks great but I’m too fascinated with my curls to go permanently straight. Sorry not interested and I heard it’s pricey. Plus it takes hours to do. I may as well get my hair braided
Evelyn Lattimore says
You only burn your hair out using a hot comb If you dont know what you are doing. There is a trick to the trade. Its better than putting a chemical in your hair. Its all in the age old technique of black folks
Nicole Hunter says
This is a chemical!!! Why do you think she has on gloves! Because it contains thioglycolate, which is a chemical!!!
Latoya Johnson says
Will her hair revert back to her natural wavy pattern?
TrueDiva Pratt says
Nope
TrueDiva Pratt says
It’s reconstructing the hair. Changing from whatever pattern to straight.
Sandy Lou says
Thanks but no thanks
