Too small but a trick for removal is to cut the fake hair short for those with short hair. Get in the shower with the hair stopper drain, saturate hair for 10 minutes with water, pack hair conditioner at the base of hair and scalp. Hair slides right out as you repeat steps. Knot unravels minimal breakage. Worked for me for years. Braids out 40 minutes for regular micros.

Yes. My hair Grew to my shoulder after the baby and conditioner slid them right out. Get vo5 milk conditioner at dollar tree….any conditioner. Hair stopper catches all the hair…scoop it straight to the bag and trash. Just let hair saturate and soften with water in shower a good 10 minutes they will slide down like worms. Lol

Back home you can pay to have more than one person doing the braids and they will take them down. But it did take me 2weeks to properly take mine down by section and back then my real hair was shoulder length bob. If you take care of the braids tgen nothing will damage your hair.

the amount of ignorance on this post. My locs are this small and I’m in 3yrs I’ve only lost a couple due to my own negligence, edges still intact. Love the versatility my natural hair allows me: updo’s roller/rod sets, twist outs, iron outs wraps etc. I can treat my mico locs like loose hair w/o the hassle, true shampoo and go

Lois Hamilton not saying this can’t be done but this is a wig. Look closely to the hairline. You can see it’s a Lace front. Especially, before her ear. Where there would be a side burn. Behind her ear is yellow. It wasn’t blended or glued down properly
Wanda Ducre I did these for my wedding day. I’d cut my hair and this was my only option. I put vegetable oil for three days and they just slid off the Hair with edges intact.

They did have Lubricant and Needles. The Edges were done in the end, that part took them forever. I didn’t lose my Edges .

I certainly admire and I’m amazed by the talent and patience that it takes to create these looks, but logical thinking makes me believe that the less hair grouped together for an individual braid makes the whole braid weaker. God bless the hairdresser who has this patience, because I sure wouldn’t. Perhaps someone might comment on the strength of these micro braids?
Bradley Paul Butler there is a person who commented that she had them. It took two people two days to take them out. She also said she did not loose her edges but wouldn’t do it again. I had micos before but not this small. It was not healthy for my hair and I only had them in for one month.
