The most rewarding thing about being a hairstylist is being able to work with different people from all walks of life. To see the look on my clients faces after a service has been performed is amazing.
When you meet that customer that has not had a great experience with a previous stylist, how do you make them comfortable while in your chair?
When I meet a client that has not had very good salon I always ask them what is there vision of the style that they would like me to achieve .
We as women know what we do or don’t want. So I get them to open up a discuss what they want. At this time I perform a consolation so that I can properly analyze the hair. I don’t get them to wrapped up in the bad experience, we discuss it briefly and move on.

If I could change one thing about the cosmetology industry it would be to incorporate how to be successful, money management, time management and customer service. You need to know more than just styling hair
