Why does it matter if her edges get pulled out or not? If she likes it, fine. People always being catty in these black hair pages. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Always trying to be funny and s**t.

I feel sorry for the individual(s) that has to take that s**t out!! Ain’t nobody got time for that!!! Please post a pic of them edges!!

It’s very easy to take it down because it’s twist with the edges you’ll have to take down two weeks after the twist and sleek with edge control

Oh thats nothing, here we have even smaller than those. Usually the masaaii braid them as they do them fast. You can have like 3 of them sit and do those. Can take upto 12 hours for the really teeny ones. The ones featured can take maybe 6 hours… Depends.

I’ve done that hair style so many times in the past 10 years. It’s called Ivorian braids. With 5 people on the hair, it takes 8 hours. Takes less than 3 to be taken out by just me. Edges – 100% intact! You have to know how to take care of it. I’ll do it every time I go to Africa. Worth the time. Very affordable

Oh yes. It’s quite a popular thing here. And we have seen even smaller than those, usually done by the masaai. But they do hurt after those guys are done with your hair, so for the first few days you would be like owie owie owie, then they settle and usually women walk around in them for a month or more. Some even longer. But taking them our is a hastle and they do break hair. I myself have done some but never that small i go for the biggest size they have and usually take two or 3 hours to complete if i have 2 or more people work on my head. I have no patience to sit there for hours and hours. The ones featured probably took +/- 6 hours depending on who was doing them

The hair is in twist, not box plaits.

Wake up every morning picking braids off your pillow with your edges still attached. Then 6 weeks later, you cut off the 3 braids left, then, you mad at the world cause now you Captain of Team Natural by default..

Here they’d cost you about $20 give or take. The masaai do them very well, some can go to $30 /40 depends really.

Nothing’s gonna happen to her edges. Idk why everyone is soo focused on that. I used to hv my hair braided like this all the time when I lived in Ghana, west Africa & my edges are still fine. Give it a rest people. Smh…

Nobody but us knows that the struggle is real for our kinda hair, either have money, time, or the skill to look right.
