I feel for you my mama pull every knot out of my hair until I got to be about 16 and then I went and had my hair thinned out. and still it hurts when I do it you are just blessed with hair
All of that hair! Yesss! Have any of you ever used coconut oil on hair before? I’m praying that my daughter’s hair grows as thick, long & beautiful as this babies hair!
Reminds me of a sister doing a clients hair at JC Penny
salon in GSO, NC years ago she she combed and wrapped
her clients hair (almost the same length) so fast I should’ve
had her do mine but after the fiasco with my hair dresser
and another one following that I decided to go natural best
Decision Ever
Firstly, both this young Lady, her hair and her Mothers respect for it is beautiful. I personally have a Caucasian Mother, I am part Grenadian with Cooli hair at 34. In junior school my natural curly hair was down to my back and unmanageable for my Mother, with the lack of hair products and guidence in the UK in the 80s. I was sent to the salon and my hair was cut short back and sides.
The result of that was extreme lack of confidence, failing to identify with myself, shyness, many other negative issues complete with no photographs of my childhood.
If your child is fortunate enough to have long hair and he/she enjoys it. You should take the time to develop it as it can be a fundamental attribute to them as an individual. At 34 it takes me 4 hours plus to do my hair as it is at the bottom of my back and as yet, I wouldn’t change a thing. Keep up the brilliant work Lakesha Garcia x
