Love it ! You can still get this look with wigs or weave so you don’t have to cut your long hair at all. My sister had a very similar hairstyle but it was more of the mohawk style.
If it “grows like that…it will grow right back”. Her hair is being “nurtured” with a wash&condition and cut. THAT is a “positive” stimulation to the scalp&hair(not mentioning what other vitimins&stimulations she may have had done to her scalp.) Hair is like a “lawn”. “Cut it,feed it,weed it”…and it will grow FAST,thickly…and healthy. (wink.)
It’s just hair. My hair was longer and thicker than that, but I chopped it off to experience short hair for the first time in my life and I LOVED it. It’s around her length in the first picture right now and growing at a great rate without hairfinity and all of the other aids out there. Mind you, this after I cut 5 inches off in late 2011. You just have to know how to properly care for your hair and scalp no matter the state or texture you are working with.
