Thank you BlackHairInformation.com for the feature!!! For anyone who would like to follow my journey you can follow me on Instagram @amekacoleman!!! No, I don’t use hairfinity. I achieved this length through low manipulation and gentle hair practices! 🙂 Oh and before anyone else asks, the picture with my hair straightened is my own strands coming from my follicles. No weave added. No tracks added. Just purely natural non-relaxed hair!!! Thank you:)
I lost all my hair a few years ago from stress, worry and genetics. I’m having a hard time bringing my hair back. I’ve gone to dermatology specialist, at first I thought it was coming back it has grown some it just won’t get thick like it use to be. I really struggle with this tired of wearing scarfs and hard to trust someone to put in a weave. Trying not to worry about but happy to see someone is getting results
I never asked for a debate. You never had to comment. I don’t know why you’re lying I don’t even care why you’re lying. God blessed us all with our own hair.
I never had to comment just as you never had to state your opinion. Free speech. You made a statement and I addressed it. Have a blessed day sweetie! 🙂
That’s exactly what I’m talking about! Pure hatefulness people don’t understand how hard it is to lose your hair and I’m just 49years old. I have a sister she has always had long and pretty hair and she still do. Down to her butt so it’s possible. Thank You Ameka Truly Blessed Coleman
I’ve just been told by the person in the picture that I’m insecure about her wearing a weave. Just so everyone knows I have nothing against weave i just don’t wear one.
I’m happy with me and my nappy hair. I embrace it fully. However if ppl get their feelings hurt and feel they have to resort to insults then maybe they shouldn’t post pics of themselves on social media.
Of course that is your right but it’s everyone else’s to say whatever they want about it. It’s not hate, it simply that everyone does not agree with you.
Tina, all I’m saying is to not accuse someone of something and call them a liar when clearly they are telling you the truth. How would you feel if someone called you a liar about something that you were being truthful about. I would never do that to anyone.
I just read both of the post.. Your accusing her of wearing a weave and I’ve been on her ig page, it’s all hers, but back to your statement, is it that hard to believe that us black women can’t have that fullness, thickness and lenght?!? I’m curious..
She is just ignorant that all it is my hair is as long and I’m black have had it all my life and I would never waist my time try to convenience an irrelevant person otherwise you have your opinion as stupid as it may be that’s ur right so do you smh…@ Ameka your hair is gorgeous!
Ameka Truly Blessed Coleman ur hair is fabulous hun… don’t pay attention to the haters who have been brainwashed into thinking blank women can’t have gorgeous long healthy natural hair. .. news flash haters its not on reserve for white women…. I’m going to follow u for tips… love it. ..
All I want to know is…Why can’t it be her real hair??? It is possible…just bcz we jack up our hair and can’t get it to grow like tht..dsnt mean it’s not possible…good grief

Love,Love Your Hair! I am natural as well with Thick hair going through the in between stage!! You are one of my inspirations!! It is a shame that our own race assumes that when a beautiful woman of color has long healthy natural hair, they believe it is a weave.

Stretch your relaxer…Protein treatment and moisturize & seal that relaxed hair…
Does anyone READ nowadays???? The young lady said she DOES NOT use hairfinity. Her growth came from LOW MANIPULATION and good hair practices.
Thanks love:)
Good hairstyle sweet thing
Thank you:)

Tina, there is no weave! That is all of my own hair!!! Thanks!

Beautiful hair! It’s a shame that women have to tear each other down. Black women can have long healthy hair. I’ll be following your journey Ameka 🙂
Thank you love☺️☺️☺️
Ikr I hat when they post a natural with long hair other women automatically assume that it’s weave
That’s a weave!
Smh no i really thought the same..u can go to her page n c where u can tell it all hers
This is all her hair, I’ve watched her progress 🙂
Definitely not a weave, way more flawless
It does look like a weave because the thickness and color she has there. I will check out her page.
Correct me please but this is a weave not her hair
It is my own hair! No weave:)
What were the products use and how long of a time did your hair take to grow to such length and thickness
I’ve just been told by the person in the picture that I’m insecure about her wearing a weave. Just so everyone knows I have nothing against weave i just don’t wear one.

Thank you:)
Wow I’m
Amazed !!!!
That’s a weave
No , that is all hers 🙂 pretty isn’t it?
Yes it is but it’s a weave
Her hair is naturally thin not thick so no that is not her hair she is a fraud
Do you know her personally?
Fake fraud my opinion why do you care
I do believe that’s a sew in. From the pics it would have taken her at least 2yrs for that length and thickness.
Yaschia, it took me 5 years to grow my hair. It’s indeed my own hair with zero weave added. Thanks!
Monique, thank you for calling me a fraud without checking the facts!
Wow, see what can happen w/a little self care!!!
Thank you:)
Pretty color and length on you
Thank you:)
I can’t believe so many people are accusing her of having a weave. I’m just…wow. I’ve been following her journey for a LONG time and I can assure yall it’s all her hair.
