At the gym
This is one of my favorite ways to deep condition my hair on the go because of the high cardio workouts I would perform. As you are working out in full motion, the deep conditioner is distributing some awesome moisture to your hair with the natural heat from your body.
Don’t forget to check out the gym’s sauna or steam room for a great deep conditioning opportunity as well. We at least spend 20 minutes in one of those rooms just releasing and relaxing, imagine what they do for your hair as well.
In the steam room you can wear your hair without a cover but in the sauna you have to create steam by donning a plastic cap and something over it so that you can keep it cute.
I would only suggest doing this on a short day or on a day that is unconventional like if you have to come in on Saturday to do something pertinent.
After you have cleansed your hair, add a natural deep conditioner (coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, etc.) to your hair, then add a plastic cap. Now the trick is to sneak the deep conditioner, so make sure to put on a satin scarf and add cute fedora or beanie to mask the masque!
You can keep this natural deep conditioner in for a few hours and rinse out when you get home!
Although this is not necessarily on the go, your hair will benefit from this method. Just add your natural deep conditioner to your hair, put on a plastic cap, wrap a knee-high sock to catch any conditioner, and a satin bonnet or beanie for extra heat.
You can read up on the GHE (greenhouse effect method) to learn more information about this method. Once you wash the deep conditioner out in the morning, your hair will be super soft, style as normal.
Make it a priority
Honestly it all comes down to what is important, hair problems never ever go away no matter what weave you wear, how many times you relax, how much you try to ignore it.
To be honest there really is no excuse not to get it and if deep conditioning works then make the time to do it. All you need is a plastic cap, heat or steam, and the perfect method for you to continue with your deep conditioning step.
How do you sneak deep conditioning into your busy schedule?
