If you want to use heat follow these directions:
- Part your hair into 2-5 sections.
- You can either use a curling wand* for the curls or you can use the Bantu knots method
- Now pin the curls down with Bobby pins (you can leave the Bobby pins* in and then spread the hair to create another one of her signature looks)
- Or leave the curls out for another more fun look
The no heat option will be using perm rods* or skinny flexi rods* for a tighter curl. Either way works!
Then, you will deal with the back section that you parted earlier. French roll the hair while securing the style with Bobby pins* as you go along. Don’t overdo it because it will hurt if you have a lot of Bobby pins in your hair especially when they will all be pressed against your head.
Now the fun part!
Get a hair scarf and mold it into a triangle shape and then tie it. Make sure the straight edge part is close to the nape of your neck and the triangle part of the scarf is between the front and back sections of the hair. Tie the loose ends at the top and secure the scarf with additional Bobby pins.
Add your big statement earrings and red lipstick and you are good to go!
