Four Sexy Natural Hair Styles For Bedtime

goddess braidWe love our natural tresses and nurture them the best we can. It’s a no-brainer that sleeping in a scarf or bonnet helps to maintain moisture in our tresses. But sometimes, we need a little change.

We all want to look cute for our significant other. Now, I know what you’re thinking. If the one you love can’t look past that satin bonnet at night, then there’s something wrong.

If it’s true love, you could wear a burlap sack over your head, and he’ll love you. But, this isn’t for him; it’s for you. Sometimes we need to change up our old routines and I’ll be the first to admit that I sometimes get bored with my bonnet every night. While bonnets are great for protecting your strands, they don’t complete the sexy negligee.

Sexy top knot

Spritz hair with a little water and apply your favorite moisturizer or gel. Pile your tresses on top of your head and smooth down hair with a soft baby brush. Use ouchless bands to secure the knot.

Twist or roll hair and tuck in your ends. You can utilize a satin sock bun for this method too. Take beautiful scarf, and secure around your head. This way, your sporting a sexy do, protecting your hair, and you’ll have a fierce style to work with in the morning!

Goddess braid

If you’re gifted with braiding skills, this simple unique style will make you look like a goddess before bed.

French braid or large twist

This style can be done on medium or long hair and secured with an ouchless band.

Power puff gal

Puffs are awesome. Simply take a large twist band, moisturize your tresses, and slide the band over your head. If you have bangs, smooth them to the side and secure beneath a second band.

This is a pineapple method I run to when I don’t really feel like twisting or using another style. All styles are easy on the tresses, a great change up from boring bonnets, and an alternative to twisting before bedtime. Have any sexy bedtime hairstyles of your own? Share them below.
