3 Simple Bridal Hairstyles To Consider This Summer For Natural Hair

Summer weddings are always on the calender and as brides are gearing up to say “I do” they have a ton of things to consider including how to wear their hair. The thing about summer weddings especially if you have a morning or mid afternoon wedding is the heat. You want a style that wont flop on you on your big day especially when it is humid.

What I loved about these styles is pretty much how easy they were to do and they all all very elegant updo’s perfect for a hot summer day. Another thing I loved is that they are perfect for a simple head piece or tiara if you are into that sort of thing.

Even though the wedding style is important, it is also very important to get your hair in great shape before even attempting the style. One suggestion we have it to get a really great trim, maybe a month or so before your styling day. Having your ends in super great shape makes your style look even better.

Do a couple of hydration treatments before your big day as well, so that your hair gets used to maintaining its own moisture for awhile. You are probably doing that already but if you have color treated hair, and you have been heat styling, giving that extra moisture cant hurt right?

Finally we suggest to just do some protective styles as you prep for the wedding. If you plan to wear braids to protect your hair, just make sure you take them out, get your trim and treatments well in advance before the week of your wedding. Protective styling just gets your hair out of the way as you prepare because we all know how anxious we can get as you count down the days.
