Here’s my technique for trimming my own hair plus how dusting helps me retain mo’ length! When trimming, make sure that you use shears specifically designed to cut hair and never use them to cut anything else. This will dull the blade or make it jagged which will cause split ends and tears in the hair. Dusting your hair every month or two can really help you cut down on split ends and save you length in the long run. Some people dust more often to make sure all of their split ends are gone. You don’t want to over do it tho. Trim when needed. Some My husband never trims his hair and it’s grown beautifully and it’s healthy. You have to do what works for you. Listen to your hair.
