Thats why she has no edges now .I swear that weave is a addiction and mental illness how are you going to keep getting that mess in your hair knowing its the reason you have no hair in the beginning. I dont understand
The hair damage is going to be greater, she has really nothing to hold on to around her edges. This should be a HAIR CARE, issue. Put on a wig, and treat the natural hair.
Has it occurred to these people that this scalp is seriously damaged. This makes no sense. If you were to get a cut on your face you surely wouldn’t put make up on it to look pretty of course not. You would work on getting it healthy. You don’t take more weave and put on a already damaged scalp. That’s what no doubt got her into this problem in the first place. Is this what it has come to for black women. Stupid
She thinks her hair is thin now, just wait till she takes out that weave! The hairdresser needs her license revoke, the braiding is super tight and putting stress on her scalp, and adding a weave on top of this is baldness ready to happen
Why would any hairstylist put braids that tight to her edges?! She’s already bald. Not cool! She needs to wear a wig for awhile and take care of her natural hair and grow it out! Smh
If you have hair loss don’t do braids or weave. Get yourself a wig and let your hair breathe and it will grow back I know from experience because that’s what I did.
Give a client options would have been better instead of just getting money from her. The braids are to tight.+thread=BREAKAGE. Her edges are not strong enough to handle tension. Recommending her a Lacefront sew in without glue or make a wig for her would have been good options for her. Then recommend her to do a follow up to help her edges to grow back. I recommend Sulfur 8, Glover Mane and Castor Oil for hair loss and breakage. They may cost you but it works wonders. Have a Blessed Saturday everyone.
It the pic you can clearly see her hair is braided too tight!! I don’t see how braiding the hair of someone with thinning hair already is going to help. There have to be a way that you can wear weaves that are sewed in without someone braiding your hair so tight that it pulls out from the root.
Those edges are snatched, literally lol… On a serious note, this is really sad though. I wish she took more pride in her natural hair, then it wouldn’t have gotten to this point.
Ouch for her edges
For real. Those edges look they’re under pressure
What edges…:/
That look painful
Quantear Budgett check this out
Her whole scalp is puckered…
Benita Neely what you think
Tremendous post very interesting
She really needs to give that style a break and allow her hair to grow back in.
Let it rest !!
She’ll be next on Razor Chic Atlanta needing them edges back
You didn’t watch the video. It’s hereditary, a break isn’t going to fix that.
Pulling and braiding tight on hair will lose edges
But it doesn’t help.its pulling the lil bit she got out quicker
Those tight cornrows made cringe. Wear a wig in public and let your hair have a break from those weaves ladies. Can we say traction alopecia?
Omg
That is to dam tight. Just look
Thats why she has no edges now .I swear that weave is a addiction and mental illness how are you going to keep getting that mess in your hair knowing its the reason you have no hair in the beginning. I dont understand
Of course she not gone sah its from the weave and sew in okayyyyyyy
That’s why I always leave mine out. Wow
The hair dresser should know better. She needs to do an onion treatment with olive oil to grow back her edges and take a rest from waving…
Some stylist can care less about your hair.
Onion?
Do share????
Onion is very good for hair especially when it is thinning. It has been used in India for centuries to promote thicker hair. Research it…..
She killing her edges…
Ummmmm…………..worst thing she can do in her situation. Guess she just gave up hope.
RIP to her edges!!

Smh, this is not good
Nice
Those braids are way too tight. Her edges will begin to fall out
Why does the braid need to be THAT tight???
You can see her scalp pulled
Gud job
Soon she won’t have a string of hair I guess then they will glue it on!
Oeee
She needs to focus on the health of her hair first not putting more weave in.
Stop this please
All wrong! She will have no edges at all
Nope!
Too tight!

they are committed to weaves… they could care less about dermatological health and related topics.
I know. It’s sad.
It looks painful.
From years of experience, it IS. Damaging, scarring, and self-harming.
And I only went to professional braideries…
I got a headache just looking at that pic. O_o
The edge loss tips?
People so negative , she did nothing wrong . Y’all watch this video just to leave a miserable comment
She thinks her hair is thin now, just wait till she takes out that weave! The hairdresser needs her license revoke, the braiding is super tight and putting stress on her scalp, and adding a weave on top of this is baldness ready to happen
Them edges nevah coming back.. sides seared off!! Got to stop this mess..

This look like it hurts!
I don’t agree with this method, she could have used a net and sewed the hair to the net.. I’m gonna pray for her har.
It still looks tight
Tip: Don’t do it!
Bye bye edge hair.. You will be bald when you take that out.
Just continuing to snatch herself bald. Stupid smh but it’s her hair.
Those edges are snatched, literally lol… On a serious note, this is really sad though. I wish she took more pride in her natural hair, then it wouldn’t have gotten to this point.
Mmmmmm! Stop ✋ putting stress on ur thin struggling edges ladies..
A real caring beautician cares about ur real hair first! They woulda refused that style and recommended something else
Heartbreaking
