I would have been ‘inspired’ to put them in my hair had they just said, Kelly Rowland “like” cornrows. She’s trying to grow out her hair like some of us are but she wouldn’t inspire me to get them.

I think this caption is being taken out of context. It says “inspired by” not “invented by” .. Just so happens that the young lady on the right was inspired to do the same hairstyle as Kelly at the time. Reading and decoding is fundamental -__- any and everything we do in life is usually an inspiration of something else we’ve seen or heard, doesn’t mean that person originally came up with it

Ummmmmmmmmmm I have been wearing my hair in cornrows since I was a baby. And I am about 10 years older than Kelly so, I don’t know why she thinks that she inspired this style.
