Many of the African braiding uses a knot technique which cause a tangled knot at the base of the hair not a good process because it causes breakage .. I’ve been braiding since age 12 you just have to practice and learn ur art ..

Yes, I had these not knowing she was doing this style of braiding and my edges came out very bad. Trying to re grow my edges now. The hair style was very cute and neat but it’s a sacrifice of your good strong edges. I took it down before time cause all my edges was lifted off my scalp.
