There is absolutely nothing wrong with pastel colors in your hair? Who told you it was? Ugh! Wow. That madness. If you ask me, I think any color is great against our skin tone.
We all know that big, bold colors have been the move for quite some time now. We even see celebrities like Raven Symone rocking two toned or three toned pastel colors. It not only makes a fashion statement, but as talked about in previous posts, dying your hair daring colors really says at least one thing about you: YOU DON’T CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK!
Hair is hair. If you don’t like it, cut it. It will grow back, but whatever you do, don’t let it completely define you. You are more than just your hair.
Check out this young lady below. She loves trying new colors, but I would say the pastels suit her the most. She lets you in on how she achieved the color in this video. So if you are interested hit play:
Here is another young lady named Electrik from YouTube. She experiments with pastel colors, and bold dyes as well. The “candy storm” color is EVERYTHING! Check out this video to hear her out on how she achieved it!
Last, but not least, feast your eyes upon this beauty! She did the all daring, fiery red hair that we all tend to shy away from, but her red hair is almost perfect! I couldnt help but admire it.
I definitely do not see anything wrong with standing out and expressing yourself with your hair. This may sound cliché, but live in the moment; if you want purple, blue, pink, blond, red, or even yellow hair, go for it. Whatever floats your boat.
And to those who decide to fix their mouths to say that this is ghetto…
One word. WHATEVER.
