1. Introduce yourself . . .
My name is Keoshia and I have been on a hair journey since 2008, my current length is around MBL, I am a mother of 2 kids and a chronic DIY’er!
2. Are you relaxed, natural, texturized or texlaxed?
3. What’s your story, how did you get to where you are?
I start my hair journey in 2008 after a major hair set back and cut my hair from apl to neck length. I stopped going to salons and took the care of my hair into my own hands and haven’t look back. My hair is currently around MBL and it is the longest and healthiest it’s ever been.
4. What is your typical weekly regimen?
I’ve had the same regimen since starting my hair journey in 2008. I keep my regimen short and simple. I don’t like to spend hours doing my hair, so I try to make it as painless as possible, lol.
Here is an overview of what I do.
I deep condition or prepoo on dry hair using my deep condition products and oils(affiliate link). I usually leave this on for hours or maybe even a day or two just depends
I wash my hair in the shower, I shampoo twice and condition once. I always wash my conditioner out with cold water.
I apply my leave-in depending on the hair style I am going to wear for the week.
I either let my hair air dry or blow dry it.
If I am wearing my hair flat-ironed I will put a serum in my hair and then flatiron it.
During the week if my hair is flat-ironed I will wrap it every night and add serum. If it is air-dried or any other style I will use my moisture mix.
I relax my hair ever 6 months.(Although I am on a year long stretch right now which will end June 15, 2015)
While my regimen my be simple, so is my use of products for years, I have barely change products unless I had to. I will post next week my staple products for my regimen.
5. Are you happy with your progress so far?
I am very happy with my progress so far, before I started my Journey I could never get my hair to grown past my shoulders, now I am almost mid-back length (MBL)
6. What’s your signature style?
My signature style I would say is a Flexi-rod set.
7. How do you ensure that your ends are protected from the elements and your hands?
I usually have my hair in a protective style at least 80-90 percent of them time, and I am not one to just play in my hair all day so, no problem there.
8. Do you have a goal length or are you more concerned about the health of your hair?
My original goal length was BSL, and now I am just more concerned about the health of my hair, length will come if you take care of your hair.
9. Is there anything that you hair hates?
I don’t know if there is a product my hair hates, I don’t ever remember just stopping a product, because my hair didn’t like it,lol.
10. Do you have any favorite hair products?
11. Where can we find you online?
