WWE Mandy Rose Expressed Her Annoyance With A Black Woman’s Fro While On A Plane Snapping

Mandy Rose

In “let’s make fun of Afro’s” news reality star Mandy Rose got herself in a little hot water yesterday after snapping about how annoying a black woman’s afro was to her while traveling.

According to the above photo the “Afro Annoyance” happened to her three times and I am trying to figure out a few things as I over-analyze the situation.

What was annoying exactly? What would she suggest the black lady should do to make her more comfortable? Is the fact that her hair is peeking above the chair the issue? And finally, does she know she is wearing cornrows which is equally as annoying for us black women because deep down clearly you aren’t that into us.

BET carried the story here is what they said:

Total Divas reality star Mandy Rose is under fire from social media after posting a Snapchat mocking a Black woman’s hair on an airplane — while wearing her own hair in cornrows.

According to Rose’s Snap story, it was the “third time today” that she was inconvenienced by natural hair, even though it is clear in the image that the Afro isn’t blocking Rose’s view or disrupting her business in any way.

of course Twitter hit hard:

The irony is all the way real. My message to Mandy is very simple – the next time you have a problem with what naturally grows out of someone’s head please do not post it on social media. It helps to just keep the racist rant to yourself so that we don’t have to talk about it or give you unwarranted publicity.

The nerve!

She’s irrelevant! One thing I’ve learned from a few of my Caucasian friends is: they want our hair so bad. I was shocked when she told me, “I want a huge Afro so bad.” Our hair is very versatile, we aren’t limited to one hairstyle! The jealousy is mad real! ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

Why make this person relevant.. it’s clear that her envy cannot be contained. She’s wearing a hairstyle that epitomizes our natural beauty.

  3. Krystal NL Walters

While she’s bashing our natural hair, she out sporting a traditionally African hairstyle (cornrows)..still wanna b like us.

I don’t know who she is but clearly she has issues if you are annoyed by somebody else’s hair. I can understand being annoyed with your own hair.

Its interesting, cause I have seen their hair over the back of aircraft seats blocking the screen, flying in your face when it’s windy, shedding all over the place…n she is offended because she is seeing our beautiful hair.

Right. The amount of times on a windy day I’ve been pulling white people hair out of my own mouth!

Actually, it is best she voices it. Then we know what she is. And can stop giving her the oxygen she craves.

Pretty much. She was one 1 season of tough enough and 1 season of total divas but I’m sure we’ll hear about her term soon

Girl bye How you gonna say anything about anyone when you look like a character from Antz? FOH

Afro hair is amazing. Most females need a full face of makeup or feel that they need to dress half naked in order to be focus of all eyes in a room. When you wear your Afro hair out “as huge as it could possibly get” it’s like a magnet to eyes. How can you not look at something so huge. It does it job, and clearly did it’s job here. this women simply could not overt her eyes, and that’s okay. Hate is the reason why we were forced to cover it when we were brought here. We had too much pride in our hair, and that could not be tolerated.

Why are they so intimidated by us in our natural state.

You are annoyed by our Afros while wearing cornrows.

We’re not annoyed by your hair in its natural state because we are confident in our own hair and its trend setting, deeply coveted values.

    Closet racists.

Only low-life trash would complain about a woman’s natural hair while stealing another black hairstyle.
