Raven loves to play with color; her new peach hair probably isn’t everybody’s cup of tea but for her, she works it like nobody’s business. The question I have is, how does one get peach hair?~ We will get back to that.
Raven has been rocking multicolored hair for awhile, and she even did a pretty eclectic braided style for a stint, so peach is a pretty simmered down look when you think about it.
She captioned her photo with the following:
“Yes, peach for the holidays… #unicorn #5thelement #holidaypumpkin“
Ok back to the question: how does one get peach colored hair? If you take it back to elementary days, or if you watch a ton of Barney (like my son does), you will know that pink and orange when mixed will give you peach.
This means that in a bowl you would have to mix just the right amount of pink with just the right amount of orange to give you the peach that you desire.
In order to get a smooth peach, you need a blank slate. Therefore, if you want to move from dark hair to peach hair, expect to use some bleach, so that the color can be deposited correctly.
The pastel trend continues with Raven Symone obviously leading the charge. We have to always make the point that if you want to try this color, go to a professional stylist to get it done. It is much safer, especially for those of us that do not have any experience with color.
We had a question recently about bleached hair, and the young lady wanted to know if she would ever have her natural hair back, and how could she manage her bleached hair effectively.
The thing is:,if you are wondering if you would ever have your natural hair back, and by that we assume curl pattern, then your hair is probably straight from bleach damage. You can try intense protein treatments to mend your curl pattern, but in our experience, you will literally have to cut your hair, or just grow out the color/bleach.
