Since it is obviously extremely important to you to know, I’ve witnessed previous posts in which young Black girls had their hair hanging straight, and numerous comments about them “looking too grown ” were posted. However, non Black girls wear their hair straight and hanging, and no one gives it a second thought.
So why is it “too grown ” when Black girls wear their own hair loose and hanging?
Feel better? You got the “drama” & back and forth YOU were obviously seeking?

That is interesting. I’ve only seen the “too grown” comments for little girls dressed like adults and wearing makeup. I think she is totally adorable. Although I LOVE the curls more. 🙂
I’ve seen them in hair forums all the time.
There are comments about this all the time I agree with Tammie. Now the photos where they’re wearing make up, I agree. That is too grown. But to allow a child (specifically those with a much coily textured hair) to experience the full length of what her hair is, is not grown. Caucasian children are born like that and no one bats an eyelid at it. It’s the same thing. And I’m not pulling the race card (just in case anyone is tempted), I’m simply stating facts.
