Nicely done and very neat. But for me I prefer regular Locs as I would be worried about breakage them being so thin. But you can achieve some real cute styles with sista Locs too.
Racquel TbRichards if I were to get locks it would be these ones….It looks well easy to style…and you know me already I can’t keep one style for too long
Well the lady who did mine charged me $500 which was a great price since others quoted me from $800-$1000 based on how long my hair length was at the time.
Not at all …my opinion…do I have that right…
I just dont like it……AND…….FREEDOM TO SPEAK AND FREEDOM TO CHOOSE…..and love…it has nothing to do with her QUEenship
Or LOCKS….Anyway I spoke and I wont defend it…. is that ok…..yah loves you tho…and I do toooooio
Love mine, 4 years and 2 months still going strong. My loc size is larger (smedium) and I bless my stylist for making that decision. 13 hours initial install and about 2 hours to re-tighten. Best hair decision I’ve made in my life!
about one year. Getting it done in the winter time helped too. I was able to avoid most of the perils of the loc-ing process, such as the pool or beach. Plus, my stylist played with color, so having a purple or pink streaks made the process fun.
Tamika Massey yes they are mini locks but there’s a lady here that puts them up and takes them down so they can be removed her price is OMG but she specializes in this.
Karen Johnson idk why they be loose in the beginning but I have them and the person that did mine left my ends loose but they aren’t like that anymore. I guess Everytime u get them retwisted it changes it or whatever of that makes since lol idk how to explain it but my ends aren’t loose anymore
Jo Voan Jackson I wish I found u in college I spent over 1,000 on virgin hair cause I couldn’t find anybody in Nashville to do sisterlocks I been wanting these for years
Shay Jones I was in Kansas city, a young as DC y had em, she paid for me to go to the class and in turn I would relock her hair..they’re beautiful and can be styled almost like unlocked hair…
Shay Jones now that’s some bullsh????, the closure come with the style smdh..I use to educate my clients so at some point they would know how to care for their own hair
Jo Voan Jackson yea my dad didn’t know how to do hair he raised me I just kept braids plaits in my hair in pontytail I got almost waist length hair now all I do wash conditioning deep conditioning and oil it and braid it up or wear puff and when I paid that much I was freshman in college and outta state
Shay Jones you can get some leave in conditioner and heat protectant and some of that oil that’s yellow and comes in tubes, get you a steam dryer, not a blow dryer, and flat iron it..it’ll look like its relaxed
Meme Evonne now I do not have sisterlocks specifically because they’re an actual brand but I do have locks and that was the best decision that I’ve ever done I’m about a year-and-a-half in and I absolutely love it
Felisha Michelle thanks for saying positive things about locks.. I know a few ladies that have them and loved them. I have a friend that has beautiful sister locks.. i begged her not to cut them out. She listed ! But yet I am still scared lol.. I will get brave one day.
I see stylists offering to loc hair at prices ranging anything from 700-2000 plus without battering an eyelid. If you can and still spend that amount of money and still stay within your means then fair play to you. However, for a skill that you can very well learn for yourself by doing proper research and learning there’s no reason why one would spend unspeakable amounts of money for locs! Learn the skill, learn well, share the knowledge and save your money! ????????
Beautiful but horrible to take out……….:-/
Crazy
Lol them joints nice I can’t lie
Magnificent styling and patience!!!!! Lol
NO EFFIN WAY
I love em but those r way too small. N they are seriously expensive, l was looking at over $600.

Lovely…I COULDN’T HANDLE THOSE
You guys..these are dread locs but micro size…meaning, you do not take them out. They’re cute but high in price to start & maintain.
These are not dreadlocks as real dreads are not made in a salon!
Johnna. She meant that real dreadlocks aren’t this neatly kept, or locked. They’re matted, 100% natural and are actually dreadful looking.
But yes, locks aren’t made to be de-tangled people.
Ha,ok.. Thanks for the technicalities…
Wow. They’re cute but mine would have to be bigger.
Nice
Love this
Have to cutout
I’m not a fan. Too small to me
Oh
They are nice
Nicely done and very neat. But for me I prefer regular Locs as I would be worried about breakage them being so thin. But you can achieve some real cute styles with sista Locs too.
Ooooooooo that’s pretty
How long hrs or days?
Depends on the length of your hair. My hair was 8 inches at installation & it took two 8.5 hr days. 450 locks…I Love them!!!
Racquel TbRichards if I were to get locks it would be these ones….It looks well easy to style…and you know me already I can’t keep one style for too long
Omg!! I’ll be crying if I had to sit for all those mini micro braids. No way!!!!
This what make ur hair fall out they tooo small
Totally worth the install price, I love mine! <3
Out of curiosity, do you mind sharing with me how much you paid for the install? I want to get some BUT don’t want to be ripped off lol
Well the lady who did mine charged me $500 which was a great price since others quoted me from $800-$1000 based on how long my hair length was at the time.
Yu don’t take them out ppl…

Just not a good look…..
What, a black what with her natural hair? Or the fact that she’s wearing locks??
Right. ..^^^
Nope lol
How are they done?
Not at all …my opinion…do I have that right…
I just dont like it……AND…….FREEDOM TO SPEAK AND FREEDOM TO CHOOSE…..and love…it has nothing to do with her QUEenship
Or LOCKS….Anyway I spoke and I wont defend it…. is that ok…..yah loves you tho…and I do toooooio

You’ll be a month getting those undone for your next style
Pam Adams they are locs you’re not suppose to take them down.
Pam Adams no they are permanent
Theyre locs you don’t get them undone you get them retwisted.
I love this
I love it that me
my hands and knees hurt just looking
Wow
Wow is good…
Takes probably a week to put in
Yes I had some and mine took 3 days to put in
Yes! But once you have them..its convenient
How much for this
That grid is the truth!
Kendra Johnson Right??? I can’t do one single part straight, let alone an entire grid!
Well that’s a lot of work, kudos to whoever did that
Who is getting paid to take this out.
Donna Washington they’re locs
It’s supposed to lock up and turn dread.
Nope
Nah, I’m not trying to sit in a chair that long
????
Love mine, 4 years and 2 months still going strong. My loc size is larger (smedium) and I bless my stylist for making that decision. 13 hours initial install and about 2 hours to re-tighten. Best hair decision I’ve made in my life!
Denae-Marie Stewart Shepperson , how long did it take to start looking how u want it
about one year. Getting it done in the winter time helped too. I was able to avoid most of the perils of the loc-ing process, such as the pool or beach. Plus, my stylist played with color, so having a purple or pink streaks made the process fun.
Them look like micro braids
Good luck on taking them out I wouldn’t dare get nothing that small cuz I was think about oh my God how I’m going to take these things out
Tamika Massey SISTER LOCS are MINI DREADS! Not supposed to be taken out. Did you even read the caption? ????????
Tori Woodard oh my mistake I thought that they was micros
Tamika Massey yes they are mini locks but there’s a lady here that puts them up and takes them down so they can be removed her price is OMG but she specializes in this.
She’s going to be bald head taking those out
Michelle Glinsey I think the goal is for them to lock
Christina Hayes I would hope so because if not she’s going to be bald head ????
Um. Sister locs are mini dreads. ????
You don’t take them out
Why are people on here not understanding that they are basically mini dreads and they are not meant to be taken out??? Focus, people!
Yasssss
Tantara Stevens, thank you for explaining. I did not know they’re not to be removed.
Oooohhhhhh, that makes sense then????????
Soo why her ends just loose like that? Ijs seems like miro twists that are intended to come out to me .
Tantara Stevens exactly
Karen Johnson idk why they be loose in the beginning but I have them and the person that did mine left my ends loose but they aren’t like that anymore. I guess Everytime u get them retwisted it changes it or whatever of that makes since lol idk how to explain it but my ends aren’t loose anymore
Tantara that’s incorrect they can be reversed without cutting them out.
Can we stop calling locs dreads please ????
Too little
Nobody reads captions.????????
These are locs… You don’t take them down
Them mugs ain’t no joke and I dont charge no less that 700 to start or to tighten 8 years experience
Jo Voan Jackson and 700 is light..ima need that whole income tax check ????..guess it’s a good thing I’m not a stylist
Jo Voan Jackson I wish I found u in college I spent over 1,000 on virgin hair cause I couldn’t find anybody in Nashville to do sisterlocks I been wanting these for years
Jo Voan Jackson is it anyway u can start them with long hair
The woman charged me 200 minimum for sew in
Shay Jones I was in Kansas city, a young as DC y had em, she paid for me to go to the class and in turn I would relock her hair..they’re beautiful and can be styled almost like unlocked hair…
Shay Jones yes, it just takes longer,
Shay Jones why in all the heck would you pay that much?
Jo Voan Jackson the hair she sold me I didn’t know better and I was outta town and didn’t have family near me
When I went back home I found out she ripped me off cause I had to pay for closure separate
Shay Jones I figured, some artist will take advantage of people not inclined about hair, sorry that happened to you
She was selling me this best hair and that because I was natural I need all this extra stuff
I don’t blame you . I’m surprised you don’t charge more
They’re priced from $1,000 or more. Depend on the length and the thickness of the hair.
No lower than 700 Diamond FortressDiamond..but yes length of the hair plays a big part
Pittman Kay that’s for short to medium length..anything longer than that it’s more expensive, it takes a whole lot longer
I see folks either dont read or dumb as hell…re relock em, the font come out! They don’t come down..THEY DON’T COME DOWN…THEY ARE LOCKS!!!
Been growing mine over 9yrs
I want them so bad but I am scared to get them.. I get braids all the time and I am sick of getting them!!
My x mom in law had hers for like 10 plus years. But her hair started coming out and they were down to her butt.
Gorgeous
oh wow????????
I want them so bad
How many months is that supposed to take…????????
Dayna Johnson Jenell paid $1325 for hers.
I used to have some mine took 3 days to get my starters locks done..in the early 2000’s I paid around $300
How long do they last for?
Jamila Sadiyah forever if you want it to.
It’s your hair…no extensions
Locs not dreds
Nice
O wow. Those are nice.
And I love mine????
Those touch ups are gonna suck
Nina Brown My sister’s are nearly that small. She ended up having to combine a few.
I love them
I got these but they’re braidlocs
This is lovely
I want sisterlocks!
Yeah, but how long does the touch take?
Estralita Givan if you go evry 6-8 weeks maybe 2 or 3 hours depending on your new growth.
Annnnnd… I will stick to my freeform journey. Lol
I’m still learning patience. But that wouldn’t fly with my patience level
This is not for me but if she likes it, I love it!
Took 5-7 business days to get that done????
Forever lox? No thanks
They’re Sister locs (dreads)
Sisterlocks.com if you want them please find a certified consultant.

A Gita Lewis don’t know if I can do it. That will be a life time
Chanitra Carr I couldn’t sit there & let somebody do this to my head smh
