So you use a cap to secure the natural hair??
I could be wrong but maybe the tracks are glued on which is why that paper like barrier is there? I can’t think of any other purpose it would serve…
I didn’t do this style, but I’ve used this method before… Typically you can use to protect the hair from “so much” glue getting directly on the hair… Sometime some glue can still slip through but like I said not as much gets through…more than likely its glued down
I have see this in Jamaica and the put kitchen paper towel underneath and then glue the hair on the net. Mostly it is a wig that can be taken off and put back on.

My only concern is how does a person keep their client’s hair from breaking underneath the glue, the fabric, etc. Or is this a weave that is worn for a very short period of time? Looks nice though.

Once you cut a stocking cap it pulls your edges wherever the cut is…. It’s better to use a net instead. Trust me. Trial and error.
