Introduce yourself…..
My name is Indie
Are you relaxed, natural, texturized or texlaxed?
I am natural
What’s your story, how did you get to where you are?
I’ve been natural for 1 year. I did the big chop I was just tired of having hair, but, it’s been the best choice I’ve ever made!
What is your typical weekly regimen?
Once I decided to let my hair grow out, I started using coconut oil* on it and conditioning (I stopped shampooing) twice a week. I condition with Bain de Terre paraben free conditioner which works best on my hair. I sit under the dryer with it for about 30 minutes.
And then rinse and apply a mixture of avocado oil*, shea butter*, coconut oil* and Jamaican black castor oil* to my wet hair and I let it air dry. I love the moisture and the softness of it. I only oil it that one time until I wash again.
In terms of styling I have also been using a mixture of Avocado Oil*, Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil and Shea butter* to hold my hair in place and I love the shine and softness it gives. My hair also feels hydrated and very moisturized.
Are you happy with your progress so far?
Yes
What’s your signature style?
My Fro
How do you ensure that your ends are protected from the elements and your hands?
I do lots of protective styles, typically I would wear yarn braids and goddess braids for about 4 months.
Do you have a goal length or are you more concerned about the health of your hair?
I just want healthy hair.
Is there anything that you hair hates?
Nothing that I know of yet.
Do you have any favorite hair products?
