Often times when we buy hair products that work for our hair, we are so focused on how well they work for us that we don’t even bother to look at the ingredients in the product.
For example, all of our shampoos worked pretty well until we learned what sulfate was. Or remember when we were drowning our scalp and hair in Blue Magic until we found out that petroleum did absolutely nothing but clog up our pores?
I admit, paying more attention to how great my hair looks and feels instead of focusing on how healthy it truly is still happens sometimes. However, DIY hair mixes and treatments have solved this problem by giving me the opportunity to not only know what is going in my hair, but to also understand how it is going to affect my hair and why it a good choice for me.
No matter what you put in your hair-whether it is homemade or store bought-most of us are looking for three things: healthy hair, maximum moisture, and hair growth.
After years of research as well as mixing and matching products, I’ve found 3 great DIY Hair Masks that will leave your curls moisturized, defined, and growing!
