How I Grew It Long Naturally Book Giveaway! (CLOSED)

bhi giveaway graphicWON BY PARIS M, BRANDY & QUI QUI Q. CONGRATULATIONS!

After interviewing the author of How I Grew It Long Naturally Diane Hall recently, a giveaway of the book was in order. I have 3 copies of this book to give away.

The book is based on Diane’s personal experience of hair growth spanning 3 years. She decided to go natural after going on a journey of personal growth and acceptance and wanting to learn to work with her hair in it’s natural state.

The book is pretty easy to read, after a short intro into Diane’s story, she delves right into the ins and outs of natural black hair care from her perspective. She tackles issues like co-washing and flat ironing with instructions on how they are done. The book is full of pictures of Diane doing everything from vinegar rinsing her hair to roller setting it too.

It’s a bit heavy on pictures and a tad low on actual information but to be honest, a newbie to natural hair only needs to know so much to get started so the book is perfect for someone who knows little to nothing about looking after natural hair and is willing to learn.
