I know I know, a Korean Steam Conditioning Hair Pack, why in the world would we mention this on a website that has Black + Hair in the title.
Hear me out, you know how it is, as human beings we often borrow from each other’s cultures, especially with regards to beauty secrets and hair remedies.
We use henna* and a vast array of Indian powders and herbs in our hair all the time, the practice of Ayurveda itself is very common amongst us black girls though the practice did not originate with us.
Fast forward to my suggestion of a Korean Conditioning Hair Pack which is retrospect though developed in Korea is pretty darn genius and could be very beneficial to anyone with super dry hair regardless of what culture they are from.
The conditioning steam packs or masks are sheets that are infused with awesome ingredients like argan oil*, Chinese herbal extracts, and aloe vera. To use them is easy, all you have to do is secure the plastic sheets around your head as shown in the above picture.
The mask works using your own body heat steaming your hair without the need for any contraptions that boil water or anything that you have to plug in. The other thing that I find absolutely cool is that you would wash and condition your hair first then use the steam pack on your hair.
This means the ingredients that are fused within your strands are not washed out, but act as a leave in, like a really dope, superhero type leave in. Can’t beat that!
As with most things these days there are many different versions of the product but one of these can be found on Amazon and this is the description they have:

I so agree with all of you. The article indicates this wonderful new product that is not available and doesn’t know when it will become available. It would be so nice to have local black hair suppliers to bring new products to their stores as a promotional item and ask for feedback.
