Bananas and Coconut* Milk Moisture Bomb Conditioner
Main Moisturizing Ingredient: Did you know that bananas are made up of 75 per cent water? We all know that nothing provides moisture like water, which is why bananas are excellent to use in moisture rich deep conditioning* recipes.
Bananas are also filled with natural oils and vitamins* like A and potassium*, which help strengthen and re-store the hair’s elasticity. The coconut milk and honey that are added in this recipe, will give you triple the moisture.
Recipe:
– 1 Banana
– 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Milk
– 2 Tablespoons of Honey
– 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil* (optional)
Directions: Cut up bananas and place them in a blender with your coconut* milk and honey. Blend the ingredients until the banana is very smooth because bits of banana are no fun to pick out of your hair.
If your hair is really parched and frizzy, you can add some coconut oil*. Let the mixture sit on hour hair for 30 minutes. Rinse your hair with warm water and co-wash your hair if needed.

I’ve become almost exclusively DIY when it comes to DCs so I’m always looking for new formulas to try. Thanks for these, they’ll be going into my hair recipe book.
