The Very Easy And Quick Large Side Twist Bun

hqdefault

So picture this: About a week ago you decided to straighten your hair whether it was via flat iron, pressing comb, blow dryer, etc. You enjoyed the swangin, the blingin’, and the swingin’, but now you are bit over it and now straight hair has become boring, old news.

But you have either spent a good amount of money at one of your favorite hair salons , or you have spent a whole lotta time and arm strain straightening your hair at home, us thick haired girls know all about that life.

The point is, you want to make sure your hard work or money invested stretch as far as it possibly can , but you do not want to use extra heat on your hair. Oh gosh, how can I solve this dilemma? Well no need to fear! The Side Twist Bun is here! Here, Youtuber nikanaturally shares her large twists bun how-to!

Products Used to Achieve This Hairstyle

Hair Pins– To Secure the Bun and Twists.

Moisturizer– Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea All Natural Hair Balm or any moisturizer of your choosing. If you do not want your hair to revert just yet , use a humectant free hair moisturizer.

Gel– ORS Edge Control Hair Gel or any hair gel that you would like to use. The gel is used to help smooth down the edges a bit more, especially if they have reverted already.

Brush– Boar Bristle Brush to help smooth the edges. A toothbrush can also work just as well and would probably be a good choice as well if you do not want to use a hair brush at all.

Hair Clips– To help keep hair in separate sections.

Wide Tooth Comb-To lightly detangle and part the hair. You can also finger comb your hair for less damaging detangling.

Hair Length Needed To Achieve This Hairstyle

This hairstyle is perfect for medium to long hair. However, this hairstyle can be altered for shorter hair and can also be even easier to achieve with Kanekalon or Marley hair extensions.

Although nikanaturally does this style on flat ironed hair, you do not necessarily have to have flat ironed hair. This hairstyle can easily be done on stretched hair. This is also perfect for transitioning and relaxed ladies as well.

Here is niknaturally working her magic below!
