Achieve Slick Hair With Swirls On Your TWA Using This Tutorial

If you want to create a slick 1950’s old Hollywood style with a modern twist, watch Alissa show you just how to do it. The best way to achieve this style is to start out with freshly washed and detangled hair and then have the following on hand:

1. A great leave in, Alissa used – Shea Moisture* Curl Enhancing Smoothie
2. Eco Styler* Olive Oil* Gel
3. A hard bristle brush
4. A rat-tail comb

In order to do this style with limited damage from the hard brush we recommend detanglng your hair thoroughly in the shower with your moisture based products.

Once you add your leave in then add and oil to seal the product in before adding your styler. To be honest this step is not imperative but recommended because you want to keep your hair as moisturized as possible.

Add as much gel as you need to get your hair flat and smooth, smoothing your hair using the brush as you go along. The product mixed with the gel will make your hair appear white at first however the white stuff will go away towards the end of the style.

The styling of your hair is completely up to you and you can use the video as a guide but we encourage you to get creative with your style using the comb to create the swirls and swoops along your hair line. For the style to stay in place allow it to fully dry untouched to avoid frizz.
