Zendaya Shows Off Her Curls After Getting Her Heat Damage Removed At The Capella Salon In LA

zendaya-naturally-curly-hair-650x650Our girl Zendaya has been feeling herself lately! Why? Well she went to go see the curl whisperer Shai Amiel at the Capella Salon in LA last week.

We have embraced Zendaya in the hair community even more so now that she was subject to ‘hair hate’ at the lips of the Fashion Police the other day.

We loved the results that Dr. Shai Amiel was able to achieve with Zendaya’s hair because we know he is very good at what he does and we can appreciate Zendaya’s message after her salon visit.

She took to Twitter and expressed her thoughts on her hair and the fact that using heat has virtually destroyed her curls.

At some point when we have heat damage we have to just make the sacrifice and realize that in order to get our curls back the way they were or should be, we have to go ahead make an appointment and get a hair cut.

Curly hair is meant to look springy and coily, and in Zendaya’s case she has more elongated curls that can appear super stringy super fast with the use of a lot of heat.

When you get rid of heat damaged ends you will give your hair a chance to look better, retain moisture, and look and feel thicker.

That result is much better than hanging on to a length especially length that is damaged all the way around. Now there are some of us who are more inclined to try other methods of fixing it like protein treatments.

Heat damage can be helped with some protein use and you can always give that a shot, but if you really want your curls back faster, we say go ahead and trim those ends. Zendaya will probably debut more curly styles now since she feels great about her results. Good for you Zendaya!
