3. Curly hair requires strength
All hair types need protein as a matter of fact so adding protein to the strand only enhances its luster allowing it to perform the best way it can.
4. Scalp health is a must
The way we eat and take care of our bodies affect all our functions including hair growth.
Keeping your scalp clean and free of debris is just as important as everything else we do to our hair. Eat right for a healthy scalp and working follicles, and keep your scalp clean for maximization of growth!
It does not matter how you slice it these four things is what natural hair care is all about which is the simplest way to approach your regimen.
I do not care if you are 3A or 4C, low porosity or high porosity, colored treated or not, at the end of the day your hair is still curly and it will need moisture, strength, low manipulation and a great scalp foundation to be maintained. Now on to Kim’s trick.
Kimmatube’s recycled parts trick
Before I share the video let me explain to you why this could be beneficial to your regimen. Remember when I told you that curly hair is easily traumatized? Well, Kim has found a way to reduce that trauma by pre parting her hair and maintaining those parts throughout the month until she washes her hair again.
When you part your hair in sections on wash day you will be able to easily divide and separate your hair as you manipulate it throughout the week by recycling those same parts.
The parts become the perfect foundation for every style, every time you have to apply deep conditioner* or every time you want to do a simple braid out.
It also helps that you have the proper clips or clamps to keep your hair separated as you will see in the video. If your hair is like Kim’s and you want to try her trick we suggest that you check out her video to see how this can benefit you in your regimen.
