Cute, but a lot for a kid to go thru. I’m not here to judge tho because there could be several reasons for her having to get it. Since I don’t know the reasons, all I can say is that it’s cute and she’s cute.
Exactly Chanel Dior. Curly styles tend to hide imperfections. Maybe she has hair loss and this is what they felt was best to help boost her confidence until it grows back. Maybe so many things.
Who taught her to be self conscious at such a young age if that is the case. My daughter is almost 3 and cares not what her hair looks like. This little girl can’t be older than 4. I understand if trying to improve an issue, but this could create more hair loss. Maybe her edges look like that because this is a regular thing. Babies don’t have edges for real anyway
I’m not gonna rant about this. I say there could be several reasons at play. I don’t know her or her guardians personally. That is your daughter….good for you and her, but this child is not your child so you know absolutely nothing. And excuse me….ummmm….you don’t know what her environment is like to be talking about her self consciousness.
Also, if you watched the video, that girl has beautiful hair. Nothing wrong with her natural hair. This picture was taken a week after. Her edges have started to come out. That is why they are gelled down. No 3 year old needs weave when they have no issues with their own hair.
Ok, I agree with your last sentence. However, I speak from the standpoint of not knowing anything about this child and the reasons. So often ppl are quick to judge.
Awe she’s a cutie. I mean, I’ve seen little kids with that much hair and more that’s all real. But I get that this can be seen as too much for her little adorable self being that it’s not hers and the style perhaps. For me, hair is a fashion statement so as long as she knows it doesn’t define her or she needs it to be seen as beautiful, I think it’s just fine. She’s so cute. And in no way am I saying that’s what her parents are doing. They just gave her a cute ‘do.
My daughter had abt the same amount of hair at 5. Yes it’s too much but mostly because of texture. She is 9 now and I haven’t put the twist out of braid put style in her hair yet because I feel like it isn’t really a child’s hairstyle. To each their own though
I don’t agree with it . Children must stay children until they’re older and wise enough to understand their hair, which is probably never lol. However her scalp hair follicles and hair is way to soft and young for this type of treatment . Their hair and scalp need to breath, they are still growing.
If it is being taken care of. That is the difference. I don’t put expensive stuff in kid’s hair, but I wash and condition it with the same stuff I put in mine. My daughter’s hair is down her back when I’m washing it and she is almost 3. Shrinkage is real though, haha. I also don’t put ballies, barrettes, or rubber bands in her hair. It’s not necessary.
Hey ladies this is just cornrows with hair added over the top of the braids. It’s a protective style. A cheap one too as the hair is $6.99/pack or cheaper. I have re-created the crochet braid style in a few ways on my daughter & she has hair. It’s so natural looking ppl do not know the difference. It is also very light.
Some little girls have this much hair naturally. It just looks so …weavish/wiggish that it looks too mature.
Not because of the amount of hair, just the style, I guess.
I think she’s already being given the message that her natural self is not cute enough! Just my opinion besides the fact that it may compromise the growth and strength of her own hair !
WHY THERE OWN HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL THIS IS THE LAZY WAY OUT NO OTHER RACE ATTACHES HAIR TO YOUNG CHILDREN AND IF THEY DO ITS WRONG LET CHILDREN BE CHILDREN SHE COULD HAVE A TWIST OUT WITH HER OWN HAIR WHY ALWAYS GO TO WHATS FAKE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NATURALLY STOP BRAINWASHING OUR YOUNG CHILDREN
I don’t think it looks too grown because there’s kids with real hair that thick and that wavy and curly I also don’t see nothing wrong with putting fake hair like if its just the little twist or braids some people add the hair to give the child some length to do certain braiding styles because their hair might be really really short and they’re probably hoping to get it to grow. But I’m looking at how this little girls edges are slick down and they look a little thin and short so I don’t think they should be putting anything in her hair accept things to keep it moisturized so It can grow
I personally wouldn’t do it to my daughter. I feel like you need to give kids a chance to grow their hair on its own. People are always in a rush to make their kids hair grow long. Just take proper care of it and it will grow on its own.
I don’t get it. My hair was down my back and my mom made me wear braids in my hair until I was 12. What is it with these moms making their little girls grow up too fast and putting all this grown folks crap in their babies heads??? Stop it before the are bald at 10yrs old. They have plenty of time, let them be kids.
I say no she too young for that am telling ya keep putting fake hair in these kids hair bout the time they get in middle school they gonna not have no hair so let kids be kids please they don’t need that
I think it’s too much..the child only looks 5-7 years old. Mother’s are going to lose their daughters’ way too quickly anyway, I think it sends out the wrong message..ijs
To much hair?lol sooooo if it were her own would that still be said I know children that have natural hair like that also children that have locs longer than that and it isnt considered “grown” she looks cute im thinkin a pretty headband or a bow maybe
Her hair ♡♡♡♡ what a beautiful baby!
I bet this LIL girl ain’t worth a quarter!! LOL Very cute hairstyle! #PRETTYBABYGIRL
THAT’S A NONO,,
SMH
Cute, but #TeamTooMuch
Too much hair for a child
Beautiful baby an hair !!!
Cute, but a lot for a kid to go thru. I’m not here to judge tho because there could be several reasons for her having to get it. Since I don’t know the reasons, all I can say is that it’s cute and she’s cute.
Omg best response ever
Look at the the side of her hair. There could be reasons this style was chosen.
Hell no
TEAM TO MUCH, YOUR RIGHT,
In my opinion it’s too much for her…
My daughter is 8 and still wear ponytails this is too much smh
No
Cutie
nope
Cute but not for a kid AT ALL. She looks two years old at the most
Cute style but that’s way too grown for that baby
She is to young for this. To much hair
Too much for a toddler. I’m sorry, she’s adorable and doesn’t need all that.
Own hair….okay….no extensions
….cute though
Cute
Too much for a child
Too Cute
Nope
Cute, but too much hair

This is too much for a little girl. Stop trynna make them grown to soon.
No

So true and then they wonder why they daughter act so grown smh.
Very true not only that though they’ll soon wonder why they have No hair left by the age of 25
Why are we putting extentions in small children’s hair? A 10 year old with box braids? Ok. A 6 year old with a sew in? No.
If it is being taken care of. That is the difference. I don’t put expensive stuff in kid’s hair, but I wash and condition it with the same stuff I put in mine. Not because of the amount of hair, just the style, I guess.
She showed different hairstyles, like a top knot
She has a lot of hair naturally. This baby doesn’t need weave.
Children most stay children that it!
No.. She’s. Beauty ..but no… She’s just a baby… Let her remain that way..
No no no
I’m not knocking nobody, I really like that, I just think it’s a bit much for that baby, but speaking on the style I’ll rock that,
That look so pretty
Awwww, she really has! I had to go to my IG to see if I was thinking it was the same doll I thought she was.
Cute . Little to much for a child at this age.
No no no
No. Kids hair needs a chance to strengthen. We need to stop adding this heavy ass hair to our kids hair
I think it’s too early to be putting extensions on a little girl that small but to each parent his own.
Too much hair
Really! Why mess this baby hair up before she has a chance to grow her own out..some people do too much..smh
2-3 more years.
No no no no
That’s true
Personally I would never put anything fake in my 2 year old head. I’m not here to judge! To each his own.
Probably a parent obsessed with her daughter having long hair. Smh
Why Why Why ! Poor BABY hope that hair don’t out weigh her… She’s a beauty without it.. Omg
Not necessary at all!
This is a no no.
Nope.
That’s ridiculous. .. yeah let’s show our daughters to hate their own hair from young. So unnecessary and disappointing
NO MA’AM!!!!
Smmfh

Its such a shame!!!
That’s to much for a child so young
NOT CUTE!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO KIDS LOOKING LIKE KIDS AND NOT GROWN WOMEN?!?! STOP IT.
I don’t get it. My hair was down my back and my mom made me wear braids in my hair until I was 12. What is it with these moms making their little girls grow up too fast and putting all this grown folks crap in their babies heads??? Stop it before the are bald at 10yrs old. Neither poor child the pain of extension even for adult.. Kid’s be kids..
Too young for this style!
So cute!
Where is her father? He is allowing this?
Pigtails and cornrows … PIGTAILS …… & CORNROWS
That’s cute but its too much hair on that baby!!!
The style is cute. I would actually love it if it was her own hair. I wouldn’t put crochet braids or weave in a little girls hair.
I say no she too young for that am telling ya keep putting fake hair in these kids hair bout the time they get in middle school they gonna not have no hair so let kids be kids please they don’t need that
It looks too grown for her age!!
I don’t like it. Looks heavy
I think it’s too much..the child only looks 5-7 years old. Mother’s are going to lose their daughters’ way too quickly anyway, I think it sends out the wrong message..ijs
That’s not a child’s hairstyle but okay.
? child abuse! #fixitjesus
She looks like Olivia on the Cosby Show.
Cute, but not necessary to me
No!
Wow……..
This is too much
WHY!?!?!?!? To teach them from young to hate themself ?
A Little to grown for me smh thumbs down
Why? Why this much hair?

Why does she need all that hair?
Already working on her looking her edges and she just a lil girl. stop already..
Too grown of a look for her ..
I thought I might be over reacting, thinking she’s too young for this, but I judging these comments. I can see that I wasn’t.
Agreed
Sad
She is too little for that hair style!
cute but dont need it she is pretty without it
To much hair for her
Beautiful hair
To much hair?lol sooooo if it were her own would that still be said I know children that have natural hair like that also children that have locs longer than that and it isnt considered “grown” she looks cute im thinkin a pretty headband or a bow maybe
