As long as she takes good care of her hair & edges while the braids are in…and during take down…all she needs to do is wet them…add a really nice moisturizer conditioner with a lot of slip & they will unravel on their own…it’s not gonna be as bad as people make it….if she takes good care of her hair & scalp while she has the braids and after they come out…she’ll be ok…I just wouldn’t want mind that small.

Its easy to take it down. This is a common hair do in Nigeria and some West African countries. To get the hair done is also fast and easy
There’s not a comb with small enough teeth to take down. … she’s stuck with those braids for life!
After a week or few days it loosen. It wont be tight anymore, you can use any pointed comb / knitting pin to undo it. The one on d head can be combed out.
We do this alot in Nigeria, easy to take down,we use the pointed tail comb
You get help at the salon. The girls there will help. By the time 4 girls descend on the hair, it would be taken down in no time.
