Actually there are a multitude of different patterns used for weaves. Everyone doesn’t do the straight back or circle. The smaller the cornrows, the flatter your weave will lie on your head with minimal to no bulkiness. So to accommodate that many cornrows, you will most likely have to do varying patterns in order to fit that many small braids on your head. I learned this from Ellin LaVar who is one of the master weave stylists in the business. She did my hair many times in an intricate pattern very similar to this one. It lasted longer than any weave I’ve ever had. The more cornrows you have underneath and the smaller they are, the flatter your weave will be and the longer it will last. You don’t want to rush an install because that affects the weave’s longevity.
Now if only styles like this were more affordable. I never understood the attitude with some hair stylist not wanting to lower prices. You DO realize that you will get more business this making more money right? When has it never been about money? 😡 .
What was the purpose of the design in the back?..
Maybe after taking down the weave she can wear the cornrows don’t know lol ..
Hahaha!
To hold the weave intact, tighter so it doesn’t come out.
I was just wondering the same thing
It’s easier and faster when u braid like that.
