Try soaking the extension in hot water and vinegar or shampoo before being braided, you may be allergic to the dye. Try this on a cornrow first. Also try different types extensions eg yarn. Maybe your scalp is sensitive to tension, so try not braiding tight, jumbo braids with light extensions or gentle cornrows. Crochet braids (looped hair doesnt touch scalp much) might work if you like the full look. Oil scalp lightly or not at all. All the best
