Who started this? We are starting to see more and more young people rocking this color hair, and let’s be real – Halle Berry started this way back in the day, so this is really not new. Who would have ever thought this would become a trend, though? I recall Rihanna wearing the color for a short period of time, and quickly removing it, due to many negative comments. I, personally, liked it – I think it is different, but of course, not for everybody.
This is an odd hair color, especially for younger women. Fashion and hair can be considered unpredictable, because you never know what will come back around after a few years. We have noticed that despite not being able to predict a trend, some people actually are ahead of their time with some fashion and hair styles, even when just a couple years ago, silver hair was a NO-GO.

I am 66 and yes. I look younger in silver, than the dirty gray most of our hair turns. I think it helps me to accept where I am in life. So many older women won’t wear it. And the dark colors don’t necessarily make them look younger. I was shocked at the compliments that I got from younger guys who loved it. So I love it.
