Alright girls I promised myself not to be too biased because honestly Kenya has not been my favorite housewife of the bunch but then come to think of it, I don’t even know if I have a favorite anymore. Kenya brings the drama, and she is an avid business woman who is now on a new business venture, hair products!!
She announced her new endeavor this week and sealed the deal with a photo of her hair. We must warn Miss Kenya though, we are definitely smart enough to know that hair products do not ‘make’ our hair grow so it might be fitting to change that line in the promotion campaign.
We would probably suggest focusing on words like ‘strength’ and ‘moisture’ and the healthy ingredients, you know the things that are less geared towards selling but more towards the integrity of product, Just sayin.
Kenya said on Instagram:
#moorehair coming soon! I’m so excited to share my innovative new products that grow your own hair longer. #itsallmyhair no pieces, no tracks, no weave. You too can grow your hair and I can show you how. extensions* can be good for resting your hair so that it grows…And fun to change styles, but not to be dependent on. More to come. 🙂
Somehow this reveal is not as surprising as other celeb reveals, the former beauty queen has always been very forthcoming about how much she loves her hair and takes very good care of it.
On the show Kenya does rock extensions* like most of the girls, and maybe it is a protective style of just for that dramatic effect, either way we are anxious to see what she has up her sleeve. Oh and a twitter follower of hers was able to share an old Pantene commercial of Miss Moore back in 1993, we thought it was quite interesting and a must share. Check it out!
Wonder if it comes with a spoonful of “crazy” mixed in….
Good one, Nikki! i concur!
She Has always had thick, long hair…but I guess it makes sense that she’d be marketing her own products.
Maybe… Just maybe… she should trim her ends… People get so consumed with length that they don’t see how ragged those split thin ends make their hair look.
Her hair could be healthy, but grow at different rates, which cause her ends to look thinner or what you think look spit. Her hair looks great to me. Also if she was consumed with keeping damaged hair her hair wouldn’t be so long because of breakage.
I areewe should have healthy hair over length but I know personally my ends look horrible stragith even though my hair is very healthy. I don’t know why. Might be her case. Everyone is different
her hair is helthy. hair should not be in a blunt cut past a certain age lol IMO, as a stylist i cant stand blunt cut hair, thats so 12yr old.
Good for her!
Her ends need to be clipped but she does have nice thick hair!!!
So, she’s not wearing weave? I thought she always wore tracks?!?
Say what we will about KRAZY KENYA . . . but hair & fitness advice from her – I’m teachable! LMBO
I remember back during her reign when she had the Pantene commercials.
Say what you wanna say about Kenya…. Sooo wears her weave/plus her own hair thick not to mention she’s soo in shape.. Tke fitness/hair info from her daily…. Beautiful2…luv me sum Kenya.
I try not to buy anything simply because its endorsed by any one famous!! Most are hard to trust especially actors, but we will see, when people i know start trying and reviewing it!
Split ends does not mean uneven. Split means the hair shaft literally split apart. Uneven ends could just be the result of different rates of growth in one individual. Her hair looks healthy. Making her ends even would make it look neater though.
Why not try that market? She’ll probably get many who’d be willing to check it out. Her hair is definitely noticeable.
I wonder how many people are going to fall for this. Products don’t make your hair grow longer, it’s all in how you take care of it.
Her hair, yes but fitness, no!
She has always had beautiful hair. I hope the products are a part of her own regimen.
That is not all her hair.on last notes episode while in Mexico u saw pieces of her own sticking out in back it was an ok length so.just be real about the thing dont try n portray this is all yours.but hey sister more power to u get your business strategy on.Glad to c all our peeps move up and into thier own
Now let me start out by saying i dnt know for sure because i have not ran my hands through her hair, but could the parts that stuck out just be broken pieces that are shorter and just stood out more than the rest? I dnt know if its her real hair or not I’m just giving a suggestion… 🙂
Well don’t know about now, but years ago she was known for long thick hair that was hers. Also I don’t think back then she had ever used chemicals to straighten it.
I would not purchase anything from her…there is a product already on the market that does that…I have tried it 2 times and shocked that it actually works…I am going to become an affiliate so I can start selling this product…it really works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This product actually help with hair growth..have done hundreds of research and tried several products …this one is the one….I promise!!!
Genetics, proper hair care, medications all determines hair growth/condition. She might as well join the masses and make money while she can. I’m sure her product(s) will help some one.
She copies off of everyone’s ideas. Someone get her life.
I thought Kenya wore weaves.
Kenya cool and all but she always jockin off the other girls. First the workout video tryna beat Phaedra now tryna beat Porsche with the hair crap. She crazy
Could be, everyone with real hair has a little damage. Can easily be fixed with hard work
Love Kenya :3 she’s witty and fun. Only people who don’t like her are the ppl who can’t handle her. I always wondered if that was her real hair, Its really pretty.
im doing good with my home made products. i’ll pass. her hair is cute though.
Think I won’t jump on it? #SheBanging! I am too already but even more if I link up with her 😉
Companies monopolies on Black women and hair care. Honestly, expensive store bought products are not needed, and neither are hers. Go to the Indian store and grab some cheap cooking oils and powers for a few bucks. Suave and vo5 even work, and thats a cheap product as well.
You are so right, getting sick & tired of all these so called growth products to grow hair. I use Suave & VO5 and oils and don’t have any problems with my hair being healthy and growing. Rather keep that money and go clothes shopping.
Love hair keep up good work
That’s all of Kenya’s hair. She’s always had long hair. I don’t know if I’ll be trying any of her products though.
This is not her hair, she said in a early episode she had a weave. But that does not mean her hair can’t still be fabulous. Just be honest .
Kenya is crazy as s fox! Stop drinking tha Kool-Aid! #TeamKenya
Look please she damn well know that is weave lol now everybody going to go out and buy #givemeadamnbreakwiththis
This is a weave foh!!!!!
So if she’s jocking off others then what are we doing..lol silly rabbits…NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN. If Paul Mitchell thought like you he would be broke. Also she wear pieces and then she don’t. She did say you shouldn’t depend on weave.
If that’s fake hair she needs her money back….black women the only women that sit and talk about who hair fake and who’s real…or I don’t care about the length….just healthy hair. GTHOH
Thst is Kenya’s hair, she also wears weave! She wore her hair on Wendy and wendy dug all through it and said it was real! Dee Davis, Karen Robinson, etc
*that
Kenya is messy I’m not going to spend a dime on anything she is involved in.
Crae Crae, want get any of my funds, I don’t trust you in the public eye, I have long beautiful, healthy indian/african american texture.. why in the hell am I going to trust your hair care solutions. You paid others to maintain and grow your hair on a regular, just cause you have long hair doesn’t necessarily mean you can educate others and sell them false hope in a bottle crae, crae..smh(most long haired African American comes from genes or others blessed hands)
Desiree Wallace thank you! Females buys all type of vitamins/Biotin pruoducts thinking its gone work like magic actually healthy eating and drinking lots of water will make it grow and stop using less commercial chemicals!!
I dnt trust anything a “celebrity” backs …
Biotin does help, doesnt work miracles but it does strengthen and thicken.
Yes ms.Grainger it could possibly be some pieces at the nap of her neck could be broken but I do believe she also wears extensions but she does have thick some what lengthy hair herself.
Whatever Kenya! We can SEE the weave underneath! Any licensed professional can see the difference. STOP lying!!!! It really doesn’t matter. It’s just hair!
Cra Cra and her products are too!
She needs a hair cut lol
At the end of the day it’s not products that make your hair grow , it’s your genes . Either it grows fast and doesn’t break or it grows slow
Cmon
Whatever may be said about her character she does have fab hair. There are so few black owned hair care its nice to have some variety on the market
Its funny that this chick aint got a damn degree but yet gonna put out some hair care products. Lmao n watch all the ratchets n thots run out n buy that stuff up. Anybody with a lil sense know if u take care of ur hair (even with cheap stuff) it will grow duh.
Stop trying to play the sisters Weavie Wonder! We all know that’s dyed skunk hair.
Kenya Moore, has always had long thick hair. She admits she wears tracks and weave. Is it a crime to wear weave or tracks if you have long hair? One would think it was! How many naturals put tracks in their hair? How many wear wigs? Can so called naturals wear tracks, weaves or wigs just because? The reality show she appears on is just that a show! If your to boring your not needed. It is called ratings! Black people and especially women are so quick to talk about another womans hair being real, fake or ends needing cutting. A majority of comments are negative and just plain judgemental. Kenya’s character has to be attacked. Blacks always hatin on other Blacks. Crabs in a bucket is what I call it!
There are so many negatives comments on here that’s the main problem you don’t support your own & why most of you are hating. Truthfully she said and wore weave the weave is a protective style which kept her real hair growing, if you don’t know what protective styles are to grow your hair look it up. I see most have followed Kenya She has always had long hair even back then. Try her product or not at least she is trying to help anyone who needs it. If you take care of your hair with a nice regiment of home or store brought product you will get longer beautiful hair. The items your hair needs most is water, moisturizer and protective styles. Dissappointed in these comments.
Kenya also stated having the extentsion are good for your in you hair itgives your own hair time to rest as it grows I guess that went unnoticed.
She needs a trim and for those of y’all saying she doesn’t … if any other “regular” lady posted this as her length check on her blog, y’all know you would say she needs a trim! The last inch of her hair is essentially see-through ends and it looks like her hemline is starting to form a W, which is a telltale sign of breakage!
And to those who say we are haters, please get your life! Just because we don’t like someone (and she has shown her true, ugly colors on RHOA) doesn’t mean we are haters!
Kenya is such a liar..
It’s hatering all the way around if not hating why ALL the negative comments, if you do like a Kenya why comment on what she’s doing or say anything. Old school rule if you can’t say something nice do say it at all. Reality TV really bring out the worst haters life on and off the TV.
Why all the hate? If you don’t believe it’s her real hair, then so what? Who cares? The intelligent thing to do is to research the ingredients in her product(s) and then decide whether or not you’re already using them or if you think that you need to. I can see that it’s really her hair in the photos – so what she may have worn weaves periodically during the taping of shows – she said “not to depend on them.” Get it? In other words, if you wear them (for protective styles ONLY) then fine, but don’t rely upon them. Give your own hair a break from wearing weaves and ALSO from NOT wearing them. Overall, why spend money on fake hair when you can support a Black business (if the ingredients are right)? Is that so hard to understand? Obviously she has been doing something right and maybe some of the ingredients in her products are what she has relied on for years (or maybe not). See for yourselves and stop being so quick to judge. Geesh!
