I know for myself going natural ten years ago was about health ( less chemicals) and then eventually loving how I was created not if my hair was going to grow right.
Ive been relaxed 25 years and I’m healthy as ever. Natural hair doesn’t correlate with health!
My hair won’t stay on my head when its relaxed, it loves to fall off onto the floor, table ,pillow, my shoulders and any where else that is not attached to my scalp. I will pass on relaxers but their hair is fabulous.
My cousin has always been able to grow her relaxed hair to waist length so this is no surprise to me. It just didn’t work for me and in the four years I’ve been natural I’ve learned more about My hair and retained more length than in the previous 20. These are all beautiful but I’ll stick with my naps.
