What Is Your Natural Hair Mantra?

Woman with natural hair4. Patience

When you are a newbie probably hearing that you have to have patience with your hair 50 million times can get a tad bit annoying. You want so much to learn everything fast and meet your goals over night.

But if you master patience over all, patience in your regimen, patience with your hair growth, and patience with your set backs we promise you that the foundation you set for your journey will be priceless.

Patience is the key to many things and natural hair care is definitely one of them.

5. Define your own beauty

As the years past we have noticed now that as we are embracing our natural hair and our own standards of beauty, it has become trendy to have natural hair on the runway, in print magazines even celebrities are making a ‘thing’ out of showing off their all natural hair on Instagram.

The definition of beauty is no longer just ‘European’ but you cannot even put a finger on it when it comes to natural hair. Every natural looks different and the styles that we each have adopted are different. It is so varied that if you even turn on Pinterest you might stay on there all day long admiring the variety of styles naturals are now showing off. We would never get anything done. The mantra that dictates that we should define our own space in beauty and style is just way too much fun not to adopt.

6. Fully accept YOUR hair

This is a great mantra for anyone who needs words to live by when it comes to natural hair, because it encompasses almost everything that we just talked about.

Once you accept your hair, you will define your own beauty, you will develop patience, you will accept that what works for one will not work for you and you will focus on the health of your own hair. All of these mantra’s are awesome for anyone just starting on a hair journey and for anyone already on a journey.

Comment below and let us know what your mantra is.
