My family is split in two when it comes to hair, on my mom’s side, there is a history of baldness and thin edges, on my dads side everyone has thick luscious long hair. I was fortunate to have inherited the genes where hair is concerned from my father, my brother on the other hand inherited my moms genes. Sorry bro, if you are reading this, I didn’t mean to tell the world you might be balding at 30, eh focus on your other talents.
The point is, hair loss is common, it can be hereditary or it can be caused from bad hair practices such as consistent pulling or weaves or braids, anything that causes stress on the hair line or any part of the scalp. Over the years edge regrowth products have become very valuable to people interested in growing back hair where they may have suffered some loss. Most of these products you can find on the shelves, some are sold solely online and some might even be prescribed depending on the doctor you go to.
We have seen a few on our own blog and worked with companies who offer this solution for many women who just simply want there edges back and we thought it would be great to compile a list. Here is a list of some of the best edge regrowth products on the market to date:
The point of any of these products is there ability to encourage circulation in the areas that are bald or need a bit of help, so Dr. Miracle targets that need making an outstanding product with some stellar reviews. Though he holds his own he isn’t the best out there if we were to be completely honest but definitely worth a try.
Well that’s it, our picks for edge regrowth products and hair loss, check some of them out if you are suffering from this issue and comment below and let us know what you have tried that worked for you.
Evening primrose oil works well
Castor oil worked for me.
Dr Miracle’s is key
Castor oil works wonders
I have castor oil and Dr.miracle still have not seen any difference for the past 2 years
There is no truth to “edge regrow products.” They are gimmicks that don’t work because you cannot apply anything topically to positively effect an internal issue at the hair cell level. The problem is the DNA has changed. Once the DNA is changed, the hair is usually gone for good!
Dr.Miracle did nothing for me but are you using regular castor oil or Jamaican black? Another that really help was miconazol nitrate (yes lol) especially for the edges.
I agree with you..I have wasted money on Dr. Miracle and that Castro Oil. Maybe I will try the Emu Oil, but if the Castro Oil is suppose to be the “daddy of all”, why waste my money. A woman’s hair is her glory, so you can imagine how disappointed I am. My hair loss is due to raising a 17 year old grandson who is now 22.
The castor oil worked wonders for me!!!!!
Jamaican Black Castor Oil
I don’t have a problem with edges but that emu oil is great for inflammation. I keep it in the house.
Castor oil!
I just started using the Jamaican castor oil I’ll let you know the results in about 6 weeks.
If your edges are thinning, then these things might work for you. But if they are gone, as in baby bald and when the hair came out there was a white/clearish particle at the end then that hair is gone. Nothing on the surface can regenerate the root to grow back.
Doctor miracle
Dr Miracle work s best 2 weeks later i had full edges back. I will always recommend them and use them.
Well, I have tried them all…they all are good however I have a medical condition and went to my doc aft using 10 different products…the doc told me to use the men minoxidil it is actually working…this has been under my nose all this time…it does dry the hair out so I use mixed Shea butter…I have all the oils which I like them especially jbco…emu oil..argan oil…etc..I have had the bald spot for years it had turned white and the doc explained it may not grow back but use it anyway then we will know for sure …I can’t believe its growing back…
Dr miracle with Bnb growth serum
Stop using edge control and gel, first. And use any kind of growth stimulating oils. Edge control products kills the hairline as well.
I wish I had taken pictures but ACV mixed with water, wild growth oil, avocado oil and Giovanni Direct leave in have been what I’ve been using. I was using JBCO about 4 months but stopped. Lace fronts pulled the top part of my edges out and they’ve regrown drastically since I started doing this. .I scalp massage, deep condition weekly and try to wash my hair every two weeks. I also stopped using combs on my hair. I had a bald spot that made my scalp visible. It’s vanishing. Soon I’m going to be able to wear my hair down again. I’m excited. My PCP also told me stop putting my hair in ponytails. I’ve done so and seen a great improvement.
I basically put my leave in in my hair.
Wild Growth
Avocado oil and then spray it with water and ACV then braid my hair in loose plats and tie my hair down.
