Nothing like good product / flat iron and taking care brushing at might not combing thru tangled hair with comb/ my hair is half way down my back / oh yes stop using perms it changes our hair
I do believe strinkage and I know that good products will increase your length such as well as a good flat iron, however I’m no fool! Her hair probably touched her mid back when flat iron but not her ass! In this pic I can even see the different texture at the bottom compared to the top Barbara West. Don’t believe everything you see on the internet.
Idk, hers is longer than my daughter’s, after I wash my daughter’s it looks like a small fro. But then I thread it to stretch it and it’s midway down her back. That’s without heat. This woman has very thick hair. It think it’s possible. But I would like to see the whole process to know for sure.

Yeah that shrinkage ain’t no joke!! I have to thread my child’s hair just to be able to comb it because it’s packed so tightly. Take the thread out and it looks like a completely different head of hair. Hair down her back with no heat.

Scepticism it’s jealousy. You can not believe something and not be jealous of it. I know shrinkage is real and I’m not totally convinced. Some ppl don’t have serious shrinkage so they don’t see how it can stretch that much. Nobody is saying natural hair can’t be long.
Jealous ???…not at all. I haven’t seen a comment on here that says its impossible for black women to have hair of this length. I’m just not convinced that in this particular pic her hair is really that lenght compared to the before pic…ijs.

For this of you talking about it’s a weave….. My hair (on top, I got a tapered cut a few months ago) stretches down to my chin -and I have type 4 hair. My hair shrinks at least75-80%. I absolutely believe this is this woman’s real hair! The preconceived notion that black women can’t have long beautiful hair is stupid. If the hair came down to her knees, I would probably be more apt to believe she had extensions added. Y’all need to chill out… Ugh the hate is real in this mug!!
