Summer 16 is officially lit and with 4th of July barbecues underway and more weekends to come where we will be spending time outside with friends everyone is trying to get a signature braid up.
In our opinion, the dopest style out there has to be feed in cornrows accessorized with gorgeous braid clips.
Here is why you should rock cornrows this Summer:
1. They do not take a lot of time at the salon
Typical box braids usually take several hours which might mean almost the entire day spent in the salon. These cornrows do not take a ton of time because you are literally braiding from your crown to your nape with about six braids.
2. Your hair is definitely protected
Your real hair is protected from root to tip when you use braid hair and so it is one of the best protective styles you can try.
3. It’s trending
If you are into trends then this style is one you shouldn’t miss, almost every hair blogger has tried them and the pictures are all over social media.
4. Easy to do yourself
If you are used to cornrowing your own hair then you can for sure do these yourself without any issues.
Just add the accessories and you are done.
5. Great Summer style
This Summer is pretty darn humid so having your hair out might not be ideal for the average natural. Putting your hair away for a little bit as you enjoy Summer festivities is priceless especially when you need a break.
If I have convinced you to try the style then you might be interested in this video. @beautycanbraid is a beast when it comes to braiding so her latest video of these Summer ’16 braids is perfect.

I love cornrows. I only had box braids once because of the time it takes to complete it.
