If you are familiar with the curling wand* devices out there, you’ll know they range anywhere from $19.99 to $199. It all depends on the quality of the curling wand*. If you do not have a curling wand* and you do not want to buy one it is still get wand styles without even wetting your hair. So, what’s the secret? Keep reading!
Things You Will Need:
- Flatiron
- Comb
- Your fingers
- Your own hair or installed weave/wig
If you are working on human hair (natural or weave), you may want to use some heat protectant* spray. This whole process is easy. It is simply replacing the curling wand* with your flat iron.
Section a small part of your hair. Take your flat iron and proceed to straighten the section of hair. After you have ran the flat iron down your hair once, glide the flat iron down your hair half way and stop.
While the end of the section is in your other hand, wrap the section around the flat iron once and rotate the flat iron* upward. With the end of your hair still in hand, glide the flat iron* slowly all the way down. A curl should form instantly. Let it cool, and spray it will hair spray for lasting curls.
There are many methods all across the hair community that give you curls, waves, spirals etc. Depending on which style of curls you are going for.
