I’m not relaxed but I do share your slow hair growth issue. Personally I subscribe to protective styling, supplementing sensibly, including vitamin D to get that extra growth.
You may also want to try that cayenne pepper hair oil idea. Whatever method you try though, you have to be consistent to see results. There really is no quick fix.
Hi there. I think it really repends on what you are using to set you twists. I’ve never had much success with curling creams, especially those that contain glycerin. I would use a high hold gel and set the wet twist out under a dryer until completely dry, this techinique has worked really well with my sister’s 4c hair.
