I’m sure we all have those mornings when we just don’t want to get out of bed. It can certainly be even tougher when you’ve just remembered that rollers are in your head or your bonnet came off so you know you are in trouble this morning.
Instead of thinking that your style may not be how you envisioned it to look, let’s take a positive step forward for preparing yourself for the morning, especially if you tend to hit the snooze button at least 4 times.
Whether you are a mom, a very busy woman, a person who likes to wake at 4am in the morning to start the day, or one who needs to wake up at 7am but gets up at 6:50am anyways, here are 6 tips to help you prepare your morning hair the night before especially when you know it’s tough for you to get out of bed:
Prepare your products
Even though your style may be set as a perm rod style or a twist out for the next day, be sure to also take the hair products out in the evening that you will need next morning to finish up your hair.
Also, you just never know if your hair will dry by morning or if your style that you have done and wrapped the day before will look the same the next day. Besides, if you have a significant other, it would be considerate to not have all the lights on just to look for your bobby pins*.
Preparing your products and tools for the next day will allow you to be organized and ready just in case you need to change up your style the last minute. And if your style just happens to fail, at least you have set out your bobby pins*, elastic headbands*, and Eco Styler* as your fail safe plan.
Prepare your morning bag
Along with your breakfast and lunch for the day, plan to bring extra necessities for your hair. You may wake up really late and forget to mist your hair or massage your scalp with your favorite oils*.
Have a little spray bottle and/or an applicator bottle* in your bag or purse for when you leave for the morning. This will allow you to feel at ease that you have your emergency products to moisturize and seal your hair when you have time, instead of waiting at the end of the day.
Prepare for workout
If you enjoy waking up at 4 in the morning for refreshing workout, use this time to sneak deep conditioner* or pre poo in your hair during your workout.
The extra body heat will help to condition your hair. Then when you are finished with your workout, your hair is fully conditioned and ready to be washed out.
