Funky?.. yup!.. Cool?…kinda! …sexy? oooh yea! Girl are you taking appointments for that one because I think I am in love? The model in this tutorial, looks like she has about a 4B hair type but this can be done on any hair type if you decide to try it. The best protective styles are the ones that allow you to have a little fun with your hair and that style looked crazy fun and super easy to achieve.
Mini Marley has some serious creative skills we cant deny that, and she joins a few creative geniuses on YouTube who just love to give us options when it comes to styling our natural hair. I prefer a flat twist type of style more so than corn rows which used to be the thing to do back in the nineties, for a few reasons.
First of all flat twists look effortless and easy to do for a newbie in comparison to a cornrow, if you really try you can do a flat twist quickly and easily with no special skills or even a mirror. The second reason is, your hair doesn’t look so tight like it would if you had a cornrow, the twists have a little puff to it which makes the style look alot less painful than traditional cornrows.
And finally, a flat twist leading into a twist out like the one shown in the video looks better than a cornrow leading to a twist out, the style is more uniformed and just works better.
Check out the style below, it is perfect for short hair or medium length hair, and if you are at that in between stage where nothing works, this will work for you without a doubt. Watch as Mini Marley does a little funky updo on one of her friends below:

I hope that this website start posting more information for children hair. This will decrease the urge to apply chemicals . If parents can learn to maintain and train their little girls natural hair , we will not get to the point of frustration and apply chemical to manage their hair.
