C’est la vidéo la plus mignonne que j’ai jamais vu dans un temps long, la musique le modèle, tout est trop adorable pour des mots. Ha! Yes I kinda sorta paid attention in French class but I am also very grateful for google translate. OK, all French aside, I really loved this video, it was very creative, who does a French roll to the beat of an old rock song?
We agree with the’ kinky* girls’ that the French Roll is a chic and classic style that you can really have fun with when you put your mind to it. The video demonstrates two looks, one with bangs or a fringe look and another with a pompadour both of which you can play with to get the perfect look for you.
The thing about those styles especially in the front, no two heads are the same so your pompadour might look like the next chick but guaranteed if done right it will be absolutely cute. We have some basic tips you can use when attempting this classic style:
►Make it look effortless– Do not pull your hair too tight or brush it so much you lose your texture, the style should look organic
►Use as many bobby pins* as you need– Don’t think it’s just you everyone has the same problem, you have a million bobby pins* and when you need one you can never find one.
Well if you have that problem you might need to plan ahead when doing a French Roll, just gather as much as you can because you will need them to ensure your hair is perfect. The thing is you can never have enough to make sure its perfect
►Allow your fringe and pompadour to create itself -This just means not putting too much stress on your hair just allow it to free form and encourage it a little bit. Again use your pins to get the perfect pompadour for you, and if you choose the fringe option, just play with it, not too much that you disturb your curl pattern though.
