    Hey Everyone!

I am a new member here and I am excited to learn more about this forum. I have a question about my hair. I will be inserting a link to my hair photos for you to review. Please let me know my curl pattern, and texture of my hair such as Silky, Cottony, Wiry. I am already aware that my hair is low density, fine, and low porosity, but I am in need of help identifying my curl pattern. You can find my hair photos in this link

    Hi shamarsimmons,

My name is Felicia. I am a licence hairstylist. By the looks of the pics and the way you describe the texture of your hair as wiry, cotton, silky.  It appears to be 3b or 3c. Hope that helps.

Personally, I would say that it’s difficult to tell until the hair is a bit longer but you could be anywhere from 4a to 3b.

Thanks, everyone who has answered my questions. If anyone else could join this discussion and give me your opinion of my hair, please do so. Also, @fstrayhorn241, and @admin, what do you think could possibly make my hair 3b, or 3c?

Genetics are the driver for your hair texture. It’s all pre-determined 🙂
